About Us

We didn’t set out to start a shoe company. We set out to solve a problem that nobody was talking about.

A few footwear industry veterans — people who had spent years working at some of the biggest performance brands — kept noticing the same thing. After a long run, a hard workout, or just a full day on your feet, your body needs help bouncing back. But the shoes people were reaching for after exercise were the same ones they’d just beaten up. They were designed to push you forward, not help you recover. So we asked a simple question: what if a shoe was built to do the opposite?

That question led to OOfoam™, a proprietary material that absorbs 37% more impact than traditional footwear foam. Instead of springing you forward, it takes the hit so your feet, knees, and back don’t have to. The first pairs were sandals, slides, and clogs — simple designs built around a patented footbed that cradles your arches and lets your foot move the way it’s supposed to. Back then, “recovery footwear” wasn’t a category. We built it from scratch.

Since then, more than 12 million pairs have sold, with over 425,000 five-star reviews. The American Podiatric Medical Association gave us their Seal of Acceptance. Professional athletes across every major league wear them. But the feedback we hear most often isn’t from pros — it’s from nurses pulling 12-hour shifts, runners logging back-to-back training days, and people who just want their feet to stop hurting after work. Nine out of ten customers surveyed said they felt relief. That’s the metric we care about.

We’ve expanded beyond the original sandal over the years — sneakers, clogs with extra foam, slides with adjustable straps, even cold-weather boots. But the philosophy hasn’t moved an inch. Make it simple. Make it lightweight. Make it work. And make it something you actually want to wear, not just something you have to.

We also believe in doing some good along the way. A percentage of every purchase goes toward patient care and cancer research. It’s not a marketing angle — it’s just part of how we operate.

If your feet are tired, your joints are sore, or you just want to feel better at the end of the day, you’re in the right place. That’s exactly who we built this for.
